Fragile Affinities – (Re)Strengthening International Artistic Collaboration
Against the background of nationalist movements in many European countries, artists, too, are increasingly restricted in their rights to freedom. Alarming developments in Turkey, the increasing erosion of democratic institutions in the EU Member States of Poland and Hungary, and the British vote to exit the EU (BREXIT), cause us to debate the ways in which artistic exchange can help preserve and shape social cohesion in the European Community.
