Gabriele Münter Preis 2017
The Munich artist Beate Passow, who specialises in installations, art photography and collage, is being awarded the Gabriele Münter Prize 2017. With this prize the jury recognizes a consistent artistic position that runs through Passow’s entire œuvre. Endowed with € 20,000, the prize is being awarded for the seventh time in 2017.
The exhibition is showing works by Beate Passow, Franca Bartholomäi, Tremezza von Brentano, Nezaket Ekici, Mane Hellenthal, Margareta Hesse, Verena Kyselka, Ute Lindner, Anja Luithle, Alice Musiol, Eva von Platen-Hallermund, Sibylle Prange, Vera Röhm, Christine Rusche, Heike Ruschmeyer, Corinna Schnitt, Uta Schotten, Rose Stach, Melanie Wiora, Uta Zaumseil and Gabriele Münter as well as Akademie members and GMP winners 1997/2004 VALIE EXPORT and Ulrike Rosenbach.
On 26 March, the curator Marianne Pitzen gives a tour through the exhibition.
