Guided Tours and Readings
Literary scholar and author Monika Melchert commemorates the beginning of the emigration of writer Anna Seghers and her family 90 years ago. She reads from her book Wild and Tender Dreams about Seghers’ years in exile in France from 1933 to 1941 and her writing under the growing threat of the Nazis.
Guided tours of Anna Seghers’ last apartment, which also houses her private library, will be held hourly from 10 am to 4 pm.
